The Charger Bolt Family is a group of superfans who are committed to supporting our beloved LA Chargers and the communities where their fans live.
Our Story
Charger Bolt Family is proud to operate as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the State of California, allowing the group to further its charitable efforts and community impact. While deeply rooted in support of the Los Angeles Chargers, Charger Bolt Family is an independent, fan-driven organization and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Los Angeles Chargers, the National Football League, or any of its subsidiaries.
Charger Bolt Family was established in 2020 following the NFL Draft, founded by passionate fans Ken Lampkin and his wife, Mary. What began as a simple Facebook page created to bring Chargers fans together has grown into a thriving and engaged community.
Since its inception, the group has been driven by a commitment to both fandom and giving back. From supporting the homeless and hosting “Monday Night Giveaways,” to organizing bingo nights and autograph sessions with current and former players, Charger Bolt Family has expanded from modest beginnings to a network of over 10,000 members and continues to grow.
The group has also built strong relationships with fellow fan communities both locally and across the country. On game days, members gather at Bolt Blvd to tailgate, connect, and celebrate their shared passion before cheering on the Los Angeles Chargers.
At its core, Charger Bolt Family is dedicated to promoting team spirit on and off the field while fostering a sense of community among fans. As the community continues to grow, Charger Bolt Family looks forward to welcoming new members and creating even more meaningful experiences for fans in the years ahead.
